CAA Funding - guest editorial by Rob Leach
THE ACADEMICS and the Civil Aviation Authority would have us believe that flight instruction is undergoing a total revolution with radical change based on exciting new concepts and principles. On the other hand, all the senior flying instructors who train new flying instructors and who are generally responsible for all the practical "teaching people to fly", will argue that nothing has changed in flight training. They still teach people to fly as they always have done and consider all the new jargon riddled esoteric material emanating from CAA and the academics to be a load of nonsense.
