THE SOUTHLAND Aerial Co-operative Society Ltd, incorporated in May 1976, recently made an applicaiton- for a permanent aerial work licence, some 18 months after it began topdressing work for its members and during which time the membership of the Society rose by about 50 per cent. The bid was unsuccessful, and although this does not change the status quo, it has implications within the industry.
