AS A youngster Ossie James was determined to fly. He never made it as aircrew in the RNZAF, but that has not deterred him from becoming the founder of New Zealand's biggest single agricultural aviation operator.
In the September WINGS, we traced the history of James Aviation Ltd, but behind the creation of this company is a determined character in the shape of Mr O.G. James, who makes no secret of the fact that when he entered the aerial topdressing business after the Second World War his ambition was to create the best and the biggest operation as soon as possible.
